Marvel's New Hit Adult Rated Film!

Marvel is known to have an incredibly successful track record with their cinematic universe and now they appear to keep up that track record with their very first step in the R-rated movie, Deadpool! The film features Ryan Renolds as the main hero, Deadpool, and Tim Miller as the director of the film.

Summary

Wade Wilson (Ryan Renolds) is a mercenary for hire with a smart mouth until one day he meets the girl of his dreams, Vanessa (Morena Baccarin). Life seems to go great for Wade until he is diagnosed with terminal cancer and as a last resort becomes apart of the Weapon-X program hosted by Ajax (Ed Skrein), who turns Wade into a hideous mutant and states he is the only one who can cure him. It is not up to Wade to pick up the identity of Deadpool to chase down the only man who can cure his appearance and get back with the love os his life.

Review

As you may know, Deadpool is a R-rated film and as such there is a good amount of vulgar language, graphic nudity, violence, and tons of laughs to be had. Deadpool's greatest strength comes from its comedy aimed to entertain old fans and newcomers alike. The production values are also very impressive despite the film's lackluster budget.

Rating

Overall Deadpool was a fun run throughout and can interest people in multiple viewings just for the comic relief and intense action sequences alone. However, the lack of an interesting and creative plot line may turn away some people. In short, Deadpool is not a movie meant for everybody but it is definitely recommended if you are looking to have lots of laugh giving this movie an 86%.
